Leaving Panama today and thinking back on the riches of this past week’s retreat. Every time @yinjunkie and I embark on a new journey together in the name of yoga, renewal, practice, revelation, and peace, I am blown away by what we witness, and how we ourselves learn.
Each group has its own lessons, and we are forever changed by the way this adds to our library. There were some common themes this time around. The bonds of friendship, the need for respite from everyday posts and labels, the time to reassess relationships, and to observe the ways in which we react to our circumstances, under the lens of yoga, and all in a divine location where we are free to start again. True svadhyaya (self study) took place, and my hope is that that introspection and connection to the deeper ”self” continues onward in our respective daily lives. Thank you for making the trip, for letting go, for pushing your boundaries, for trusting us, and for enriching our own experience so much. We miss those of you who aren’t in Jax with us and hope to retreat with you again soon! As always, we’re in awe of our Sansara home. @sansara_janel and @sansara_mike continue to be true to their incredible vision, and it’s a relief to arrive there to the same considerate, supportive feeling we got from the first time we went there in 2016. The team there never fails to impress, and we love them all. Thank you for the singular environment that you’ve created at Sansara and the way you allow us to make it our own. Hasta la proxima!
